Who are we?

Appellation Wines is a wine agency licensed by the AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) to solicit sales, in case lots, from accredited businesses and ‘wine enthusiasts’ in Ontario.

About the Owner

Ken Hayden has been self-employed since 1985, a firm believer of working in a domain that one enjoys. A wine enthusiast since the 80's, he ventured into the wine trade as a sub-agent in May 1995 following the sale of his first enterprise.

Once in the wine trade, he completed a lengthy course to become a certified sommelier. Firmly entrenched in the Ontario wine market, Canada's largest, self-initiated he was directly responsible for the introduction of a dozen Australian wineries, and a facilitator for additional ones into British Columbia.
